Claremore Lake is a reservoir in Claremore, Oklahoma that provides water to the city of Claremore.[1] Constructed in 1930 for the purpose of providing water, the lake covers 470 acres (1.9 km2)[2] and houses recreational amenities such as boat ramps, fishing docks, and picnic areas.[1] Its major tributaries are Dog Creek and Little Dog Creek.[2]
