The Anzhu Islands or Anjou Islands ( _ru. острова Анжу) are a geographical subgroup of the
New Siberian Islands archipelago. They are located between theLaptev Sea and theEast Siberian Sea in theRussia nArctic . The total area of the islands is approx. 29,000km² .The main islands of the Anzhu subgroup are (from west to east):

Belkovsky Island .
*The whole formed by Kotelny,Bunge Land and Faddeyevsky.
*New Siberia .The Anzhu Islands are named after
Russia n explorer Pyotr Anjou.This island group is a practically uninhabited territory. It belongs administratively to the
