College of Engineering Kallooppara (CEK), located in the Sylvan hills of Pathanamthitta district, is one of the premier institutions among the new generation Engineering colleges of South India. Ever since its inception under the aegis of the Institute of Human Resources Development(IHRD - Established by Govt. of Kerala) the college has already made its presence felt in the technical horizon of the State. The College is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE).

CEK is dedicated to scientific advancement, technological progress and economic growth of the country through human resources development . It shall endeavor to adhere to the principle " Think Globally and Act Locally", so that compulsions of the nation's welfare are firmly entwined with and embedded in the world wide goals of society.

Hostel
There is a college hostel for girls near to the college. There is no hostel for men.
Courses
CEK offers courses leading to four-year B.Tech. degrees in three branches[1]:
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Information Technology
The degrees are awarded by Cochin University of Science and Technology.
Location
CEK is situated in the hills of Pathanamthitta district Kallooppara. The Thiruvalla railway station and bus station are 8 km from the college[2].
