Anna Le Hair

Anna Le Hair is a British classical pianist and harpsichordist. She studied music at Edinburgh University, performance at the Royal College of Music, and piano accompaniment at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. She works as a soloist, a chamber musician and an accompanist playing in many London venues, around Britain and Europe. Anna has also done such diverse things as playing background music in London hotels and restaurants, touring the UK and Channel Islands with the Lewis London Ballet and repetiteuring for opera groups and choral societies. Anna regularly gives lunch time recitals in [http://www.stmaryshemel.org.uk/index.html| St Mary's] Hemel Hempstead and St Lawrence Jewry [http://london.lovesguide.com/lawrence_jewry.htm] in the City of London and has performed at festivals in Rayleigh [http://www.trinityfestival.co.uk/] , Colchester and at the Buxton Festival Fringe [http://www.buxtonfringe.org.uk/] . Currently she is rehearsal pianist for the Aeolian Singers [http://www.aeoliansingers.org.uk/] and the Chiltern Choir [http://www.chilternchoir.org.uk/] .

Her repertoire includes many of the most popular classical concertos, including Mozart’s concerto no 21, Rachmaninov’s 2nd piano concerto, Beethoven's 3rd piano concerto, Grieg's piano concerto and Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No 5. However she also plays the music of Gerswhin and Billy Mayerl and has played in Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time.
