railway station on the Main North Line of theCityRail network. It is located in theSydney suburb of Asquith. The station is served by two trains per hour in each direction for most of the day, with additional trains during weekday peak hours.Most of the trains serving Asquith travel via the North Shore line even though the station appears as if it belongs on the Northern line. A few Central Coast trains stop for the convenience of schoolchildren.
Asquith has two
side platform s. The platforms can easily accommodate suburban trains however are unable to fit the 8-car intercity services and only the rear 7 carriages are accessible.History
