Corporate information

History

Mushkin, Inc. was established on 1994 by William Mushkin in Denver, Colorado. The company started its business supplying memory modules to Macintosh users.

On December 8, 2008, Mushkin relocated its headquarters to Inverness, the suburban tech center south of Denver in Englewood, Colorado. Prompting the move to the new facility was the need for more space and a building more suited to accommodate the nature of Mushkin's business which includes light manufacturing, assembly, R&D and component testing. The new facility offers 50% more production space, 30% more room for testing operations and R&D, and a 40% increase in office space. Mushkin's new address is 317 Inverness Way South, Ste 130, Englewood Co. 80112. Its phone numbers and other contact information remain the same.

On May 11, 2000, Ramtron International Corporation along with its subsidiary, Enhanced Memory Systems, announced an agreement to acquire by way of a merger Mushkin Inc.

On June 15, 2000, Ramtron International Corporation (NASDAQRMTR) along with its subsidiary, Enhanced Memory Systems, Inc., announced that Ramtron acquired, by way of a merger, Mushkin Inc. The merger resulted in Mushkin becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Ramtron.[2] But in July 2005, George Stathakis, who was the general manager, purchased the company from Ramtron International and became Mushkin's new owner and president.
