Piedmont, Arizona

Piedmont, Arizona is a ghost town in Yavapai County, Arizona. It was located between the Weaver Mountains and the Date Creek Mountains of Arizona, on Date Creek Road (Yavapai Route 62). It was near the ghost towns of Congress and Hillside. All that remains of the town is the sign, along the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. Not much is known about this town.

In fiction

Michael Crichton's novel, "The Andromeda Strain", is set in Piedmont, Arizona.
