Water
The main source of water available to Palestinians is the large groundwater aquifer underlying the occupied West Bank. The water system is however largely controlled by Israel, and drilling restriction has severed the ongoing water crisis.[3] Deir Ghazaleh, however has a well, located just outside the village, called the Abu ´Ahed well. The well, which was drilled before the restrictions took place in 1967, also supply water to the surrounding communities. Some of these communities depend on the Abu ´Ahed well, although it's not enough to cover their needs.[4]
