Chinnakuyili village lies in the outskirts of Coimbatore City. It structures to the length & breadth - 3x5 km. It has a population of 604 men and 574 women. Chinnakuyili is a minor Panchayat included in Kallappalayam major Panchayat, with large source of income collected from the land taxes. People in this village are engaged in agriculture business and cultivation of maize, vegetables, cotton and coconuts. Most of the people are farmers mostly having cows and engaging in doing milk business. Milk farming is a hobby for all agriculture people for centuries in this village. Chinnakuyili village is also known for its pleasant climate, nice people, peaceful atmosphere and nice wind flow.

People and festival
Most of the population are in lower, middle class people earning their living on daily / monthly wages by working in nearby agricultural fields, textile / spinning mills, engineering workshops and small industries.
People in this village are now started giving important to quality education for their children. Most of the current youths in this village are well educated and strong enough to compete with the rest of the fellow Indians and even in global level. Current youths are strong enough to take up the responsibility in their shoulders and ready to meet the challenges what ever comes on the way with brave and courage with the grace of Chinnakuyili, Lord Sri Mariamman. Mariamman gives good health, sound mind, body and prosperity for the whole village. Every year in May–June month whole village will celebrate Lord Mariamman festival for a week.
Places to visit
Lord Mariamman Temple This is one of the older temple in Chinnakuyili. The specialty of this temple is that this is one of the few Mariamman temple constructed to prevent the deadly disease "Blake". The tower of the temple is built as a blend of South Indian styles and it is three storied. The temple in the western side of village on the sides of Periyakuyili road this temple is maintained by people of Chinnakuyili.
Lord Ganesha Temple This temple is an important place of worship for the villagers here in Chinnakuyili. The people of Chinnakuyili village come to this temple every day before starting / going to work. Most villagers will worship this temple before and after any auspicious occasion in home like marriage, newly joining school, colleges or before going for new jobs, etc. This temple is situated on the entrance of Chinnakuyili village and main bus stand is located near this temple. Town bus route No. 108, 108A and 69B operates from Coimbatore (Gandhipuram) by Tamil Nadu State transport corporation stops at this temple
Resources
Water resources are very limited and is highly dependent on every year monsoon. This village has a spinning mill and many broiler forms. Many farmers having and maintains broiler farms apart from their usual agriculture activities. Wind velocity will be high throughout the year. Hence many private companies have installed their wind mills here.[1] Approximately around 40 - 50 wind mills are installed so far.
Entertainment
Youngsters in Chinnakuyili are enjoying their free time by playing traditional Indian games and performing social works. Chinnakuyili is known for its rich Hindu tradition and many of the youths are participating in Hindu religious get together in Lord Mariamman temple premises every week Sunday morning 7:00 AM IST. People meet to perform Yoga, Surya Namaskar, physical exercises and fantastic small games which will be enjoyed by every one at all age levels.
Transport
Coimbatore is nearby city and it is well connected by air, train and buses from all major part of Tamilnadu and in India. To reach Chinnakuyili from Coimbatore city town buses are available from Coimbatore town bus stand (Gandhipuram). Buses are available only at specified time and limited services are available. The town bus numbers are 108A, 108 and 69B.
