United States Census Bureau , the borough has a total area of 2.0square mile s (5.1km² ), of which, 1.9 square miles (4.8 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²) of it (6.09%) is water.Demographics

census GR|2 of 2000, there were 284 people, 122 households, and 81 families residing in the borough. Thepopulation density was 153.3 people per square mile (59.3/km²). There were 134 housing units at an average density of 72.3/sq mi (28.0/km²). The racial makeup of the borough was 99.65% White and 0.35% Asian. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.70% of the population.There were 122 households out of which 23.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.1% were married couples living together, 2.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.8% were non-families. 28.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.33 and the average family size was 2.90.
In the borough the population was spread out with 20.4% under the age of 18, 4.2% from 18 to 24, 20.8% from 25 to 44, 34.2% from 45 to 64, and 20.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 47 years. For every 100 females there were 97.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 98.2 males.
The median income for a household in the borough was $60,000, and the median income for a family was $71,250. Males had a median income of $53,750 versus $38,125 for females. The
