National Express West Midlands route 905

National Express West Midlands route 905

National Express West Midlands route 905 is a bus route operating in the West Midlands, England.

History

This service has come through many incantations, originating with Midland Red and using number 103 before in the early 1990s becoming the 105/901. The 901 at that time ran from Birmingham to Walsall via Sutton Coldfield and Lichfield, but was split into two routes, the 105A and the 991. The section between Roughley and Lichfield was withdrawn. Therefore, it became the 105/105A until the arrival of Plaxton Presidents in 2000. Then the 105A was renumbered 905, and it has been similar to today.

Current route

*Birmingham, Upper Bull Street
*Aston Expressway (non-stop)
*Erdington, Six Ways
*Sutton Coldfield, Lower Parade
*Mere Green, Island
*Roughley, Weeford Road
