Munagala (Telugu: మునగాల) is a town and mandal in the Nalgonda district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India.

It is Located on National Highway 9 (India) and there are many small villages besides this town. Even though NH9 (Hyderabad-Vijayawada) highway passes through it, still it is under developed. The nearest big towns are Kodada and Suryapeta. All the people from Munagala surrounding places will be using the services from kodad and Suryapet

Munagala comes under the kodad Assembly constituency.

There are few Govt offices are located in Munagala like MRO office,MDO office, Police station and more.There are three banks like Andhra bank, Nagarjuna grameena bank and canara bank.

It will take 3 hours to reach Munagala from Hyderabad and Vijayawada. There is no train route for this town.

Some of the temples in Munagala are Sri Laxmi Narsimha Swamy temple (Repala),Hanuman Temple, Ramayalam, Shivalayam, Durga Temple, Veera Brahmamendra Swamy temple and Saibaba Temple.

Munagala is very famous communist movement since independence. Munagala paragaana since 1958 under Krishna district.
