Skatval Station is a railway station located in the village of Skatval in Skatval, Norway on the railway line Nordlandsbanen. The station is served hourly by the commute rail service Trønderbanen to Steinkjer and Trondheim. The service is operated by Norges Statsbaner. There is free parking at the station, but no ticket machine.

History

The station was opened on 29 October 1902 on the Hell–Sunnanbanen line between Hell and Levanger as the section to Levanger was finished. Åsen was designed by Paul Due and was built with a surrounding park. A new station are a few hundred meters away from the old station with two platforms has been built, and the station building taken out of service.
