Åsen Station is a railway station located in the village of Åsen in Levanger, Norway on the railway line Nordlandsbanen. The station is served hourly by Norges Statsbaner's commuter rail service Trønderbanen to Steinkjer and Trondheim. The station also serves Frosta via bus routes provided by TrønderBilene.

History

The station was opened on 29 October 1902 on the Hell–Sunnanbanen line between Hell and Levanger as the section to Levanger was finished. Åsen was designed by Paul Due and was built with a surrounding park. The current building is from 1944, but has become disused by the railway and is an art gallery.
