Ohio, United States. The population was 2,230 at the 2000 census.

According to the
United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.5 square miles (3.9 km²), all of it land.
As of the
censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 2,230 people, 851 households, and 582 families residing in the village. The population densitywas 1,490.3 people per square mile (574.0/km²). There were 883 housing units at an average density of 590.1/sq mi (227.3/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 95.07% White, 0.36% African American, 0.31% Native American, 0.27% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 2.47% from other races, and 1.48% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.82% of the population.
There were 851 households out of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.1% were married couples living together, 11.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.5% were non-families. 29.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.51 and the average family size was 3.11.
In the village the population was spread out with 25.6% under the age of 18, 6.3% from 18 to 24, 28.9% from 25 to 44, 21.3% from 45 to 64, and 18.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 90.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 82.7 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $43,750, and the median income for a family was $49,784. Males had a median income of $39,554 versus $22,452 for females. The
