Bergen is a city in McHenry County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 11 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Minot Micropolitan Statistical Area. Bergen was founded in 1905.

Geography

Bergen is located at coor dms|48|0|10|N|100|43|0|W|city (48.002794, -100.716761)GR|1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.8 km²), all of it land.

Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 11 people, 4 households, and 3 families residing in the city. The population density was 15.4 people per square mile (6.0/km²). There were 11 housing units at an average density of 15.4/sq mi (6.0/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% White.

There were 4 households out of which 50.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% were married couples living together, and 25.0% were non-families. 25.0% of all households were made up of individuals and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.75 and the average family size was 3.33.

In the city the population was spread out with 27.3% under the age of 18, 18.2% from 18 to 24, 9.1% from 25 to 44, 27.3% from 45 to 64, and 18.2% who were 65 years of age or older.
