All of the songs featured in Dance Dance Revolution Konamix are from previous releases in the series with the exception of "AM-3P (303 Bass Mix)", a remixed of the classic original from Dance Dance Revolution 2ndMix. Some songs have been re-recorded and renamed to remove content that could be perceived as explicit or racist. For example the English lyrics removed from "After the Game" (Changed from "After the Game of Love") discussed sexual intercourse.[2]
Songs are organized into groups of genres, one of which must be chosen to play the songs within. Some songs are part of multiple groups. An option to switch off the genres allows access to all the songs in the game at the same time.
