Maurice Gordon Clarke was an American football coach. The Omaha, Nebraska native served as head coach at the University of Texas at Austin in 1899. Clarke was a graduate of the University of Chicago and played quarterback on the 1896-98 Chicago teams under head coach Amos Alonzo Stagg. His record at Texas is 6–2.
