Socond (Hungarian: Nagyszokond, Hungarian pronunciation: [nɒɟsokond]) is a comună of 2,630 inhabitants situated in Satu Mare County, Romania. It is composed of five villages: Cuţa (Laphegy), Hodişa (Béltekhodos), Socond, Soconzel (Kisszokond) and Stâna (Felsőboldád).
