Øystein Runde

Øystein Runde (born December 14, 1979, in Ulsteinvik) is a Norwegian cartoonist.^[1]

He has written and illustrated two albums of the unsuccessful superhero Bjartmann, both published by Jippi Forlag. His first breakthrough was the cartoon Margarin, which is a collaboration with the Norwegian artist and musician Kristopher Schau. Runde wrote a strip named Rundetid in the youth magazine Spirit. His main claims to fame are Margarin, De Fire Store (often just writing scripts for artist Geir Moen) and the Viking epic Saga of Olav Sleggja.^[2][3]
