5SEF, branded on-air as 96.1 Star FM, is an Australian radio station owned by Macquarie Regional RadioWorks. The station is based in Mount Gambier South Australia. Like most of the "Star FM" network, the only local program that is broadcast from Mount Gambier is the Breakfast Program. All other programming is networked from Albury in New South Wales or the Gold Coast in Queensland. 5SEF started broadcasting in 1998 and is a sister station to 5SE.
