Thus, the two substrates of this enzyme are ATP and
protein , whereas its two products are ADP andphosphoprotein .This enzyme belongs to the family of
transferase s, specifically those transferring phosphates to theoxygen atom of aserine orthreonine sidechain inprotein s (protein-serine/threonine kinase s). The systematic name of this enzyme class is ATP:protein phosphotransferase (non-specific).
