The Danish parliamentary election of 1977 was held on 15 February 1977. The election was a disaster for the Social Liberal Party and Venstre, who both lost half of their seats. The election gave Anker Jørgensens Social Democratic government a good result, giving them a 12 seats gain, and he afterwards formed a new cabinet.
