J.F. Gmelin, 1789The Masked Laughingthrush, Garrulax perspicillatus, is a species of laughingthrush found in Asia. It is often seen in small noisy flocks of seven. Its Chinese name [七姊妹 qī zǐ-mèi] means 'seven sisters'.
