Phenaridine (2,5-Dimethylfentanyl) is an opioid analgesic that is an analogue of fentanyl. Side effects of fentanyl analogues are similar to those of fentanyl itself, which include itching, nausea and potentially serious respiratory depression which can be life-threatening.
