War studies

War studies is the multi-disciplinary study of war. It is distinct from military history in that it encompasses a variety of fields:

**Ethics of war
**Deterrence theory
*Psychology of war
**Post traumatic stress disorder
**Psychological operations
*Military history
*Social aspects of war
*International Relations
