The "Journal of Cold War Studies" is the journal of the Harvard Project on Cold War Studies. It contains peer reviewed articles on almost any topic relating to the Cold War, with a special emphasis on the use of recently declassified archival sources from both East and West.
Founded at Harvard University in 1999, it quickly grew into a leading forum for the study of the Cold War and now publishes four issues each year. Many of the most distinguished historians and political scientists in the field sit on its editorial board, including Stephen Van Evera, Samuel P. Huntington, Stephen Walt, Donald Kagan and John Lewis Gaddis. It is edited by Mark Kramer and is published by the MIT Press.
