Career
Hudson is best known for starring as Adam Rhodes in the TV series Rules of Engagement (2007–present), My Guide to Becoming a Rock Star and The Mountain (2004–2005), and supporting roles in the films New Best Friend (2002) and The Out-of-Towners (1999). Personal life
Hudson was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Academy Award-winning actress Goldie Hawn and musician Bill Hudson. His parents divorced in 1980; he and his sister, actress Kate Hudson, were raised in Colorado by his mother and his mother's long-time boyfriend, actor Kurt Russell.[1] Hudson says that he considers Russell to be his father. He has four half-siblings: Emily and Zachary, from his biological father's subsequent marriage to actress Cindy Williams; Lalania, from another of his father's relationships in 2006; and Wyatt, from his mother's relationship with Kurt Russell.
Hudson is of Hungarian, Italian, English, Scots-Irish and Jewish descent,[2] and was raised partially in his maternal grandmother's Jewish religion.[3] Hudson is also the cousin of singer Sarah Hudson.
Hudson married actress Erinn Bartlett on June 9, 2006 in Mexico. They have two sons, Wilder Brooks Hudson (born 2007) and Bodhi Hawn Hudson (born 2010).[4][5]
