Emily Friendship (15 January 1979, London) is a English singer, songwriter and composer. Friendship is the daughter of John and Wendy Friendship. At the age of nineteen, Friendship was offered a place in the cast of Cameron Mackintosh's "Phantom of the Opera".

Friendship's career as a songwriter and composer began with the release of "You're the Kinda Man" on Sarah Connor's album "Naughty but Nice". Following it's success, Friendship went on to co-write and record with the likes of Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams), Eg White, (Will Young, Joss Stone), Johnny Douglas (George Michael, Kylie Minogue), Jamie Hartman (Will Young) and Joss Stone.

In 2004 Friendship formed a writing partnership with Grammy winner and Oscar nominated songwriter, Rod Temperton.

Following her success as a writer, Friendship moved into recording. Her debut as a recording artist came in the form of a feature on Nate James' "Kingdom Falls" album, released in July 2007.

Friendship is currently in Los Angeles, California writing and composing for various television and films and is working on her debut solo album.
