Education

Frenchboro Elementary School supports kindergarten through eighth grade. The school has struggled in the last twenty years to maintain an educating atmosphere. For sometime, there were only two students attending the school, and shortly after that, there was only one student for a brief period of time. In 1995, Zachary Lunt graduated and it wasn't until 2004 that they had had another graduation sending Joseph Charpentier away to Northfield Mount Hermon School (first in years to go to boarding school from Frenchboro School). Despite this fiasco, the somewhat recent baby boom has improved that situation by upping the number of scholars. As of now, there are about eleven students attending the Frenchboro Elementary School ranging from kindergarten through sixth grade.
