Status = UnknownThe Pitt Lake Giant is a giant cryptozoological primate reportedly sighted at a valley northwest ofPitt Lake ,British Columbia in June of1965 by Ron Welch and his brother. It reportedly made four-toed tracks and was estimated to be about 12 feet (~3.7 m) tall. The brothers sighted footprints in the snow, 24 in long and 12 in across. It had auburn-coloured hair, which was thinner on its arms than on its head. Its hands however, similar to canoe paddles, were reportedly yellow and could reach below its knees. Similar creatures were reported as far back as 1829 from as far as Georgia,North Carolina , andPennsylvania .References
