Yling Tan Miller [http://www.ylingtan.com] (born October, 1988 in Newport Beach, California) is a classical pianist currently studying piano performance at the University of Southern California (USC), Thornton School of Music. Prior to attending USC she graduated from Inglemoor High School [http://schoolcenter.nsd.org/education/components/scrapbook/default.php?sectionid=19] in Kenmore, Washington with an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. While at Inglemoor High School she published an essay on Chopin titled, “Frederic Chopin: Revolutionary composer or Disguised Traditionalist? [http://www.ylingtan.com/ExtendedEssay.pdf] ” The essay was submitted to IB and awarded a score of 7 which was the highest possible.
