Princeton is a city in Franklin County, Kansas, United States. The population was 317 at the 2000 census.

Geography

Princeton is located at coor dms|38|29|18|N|95|16|13|W|city (38.488387, -95.270357)GR|1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.3 square miles (0.9 km²), all of it land.

Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there are 317 people, 111 households, and 88 families residing in the city. The population density is 941.9 people per square mile (360.0/km²). There are 118 housing units at an average density of 350.6/sq mi (134.0/km²). The racial makeup of the city is 95.90% White, 0.63% African American, 0.63% Asian, and 2.84% from two or more races. 0.63% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 111 households out of which 45.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.8% are married couples living together, 9.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 20.7% are non-families. 18.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
