Melody Horrill

Melody Horrill (born 1968 in the United Kingdom[1]) is the weather presenter and reporter with Seven News in Adelaide.[2]

After working at both the Nine Network and ABC TV, Melody joined Ten News in Adelaide as environment reporter. She was also the regular fill-in weather presenter. She has had a varied media career which has spanned both Australian and international television.

Working in Adelaide

In in the mid 1990s, Melody joined the Nine Network and reported for National Nine News and also 'Adelaide Today'.

After moving to Network Ten, she reported for the local and national news, and also produced a number of environmental documentaries focusing on South Australian environmental issues. These documentaries were shown on both the Network Ten and internationally on CNN.[3]

International Work

During her time at Network Ten, Melody was selected to undertake a one month work experience at the CNN headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. There, she presented World News and also environmental programs. Since returning to Adelaide, she has continued to file reports for the CNN World Report.

Seven News and Channel 7

Mel joined the Seven Network in Adelaide in 2004 as weekday weather presenter. She is also the Science, Health and Environment reporter for Seven News. She has also reporter for local travel program Discover and often presents Seven News Updates.
