For her schooling, Susannah attended North Cottesloe Primary for Years 1 and 2; Cottesloe Primary for Year 3 and Iona Presentation College for Years 4 to 12.born in 1935
Media career
Susannah's media career commenced in 1974 with the then ABC 6WF (Now
720 ABC Perth ) as a Cadet Reporter. Just two weeks after joining the station, she was broadcasting on Christmas Day - the same day whenCyclone Tracy hit Darwin.She transitioned from radio to ABC
television in Perth. Susannah then switched toTVW-7 in 1985 and is now a face of Channel 7 news in Perth along with her long-time co-anchorRick Ardon .In 1986, she won the
Logie Award for Most Popular Female,Western Australia . In the same year, her co-anchorRick Ardon won theLogie Award for Most Popular Male,Western Australia . In 2000, she was inducted an Honorary Member by theEdith Cowan University chapter of theGolden Key International Honour Society .Susannah is also a regular public speaker on media issues and master of ceremonies.
