Ann Sanders is an Australian television journalist and news presenter. She is currently the anchor of the
Seven Network 's national 11:30am news bulletin "Seven Morning News". She also presents hourly updates through The Morning Show withKylie Gillies andLarry Emdur .A respected journalist with more than 25 years experience in television, Sanders began her broadcasting career with
SAS-7 in Adelaide as a weather presenter, before moving to Seven Perth, during this time she won two consecutive (1981/1982)Logie Awards for Most Popular Female Personality inWestern Australia . She moved to Sydney in 1983 to joinNetwork Ten as a consumer reporter and news presenter before returning to theSeven Network as a news presenter in 1988.Ann joined the national morning news program 11AM in 1990 and at the helm of that program she travelled to
Chernobyl , reporting on the radiation fall-out disaster. Sanders presented the Sydney edition of Seven News in early 1995, before being joined byRoss Symonds in 1998 until she moved to weekends in 2004 where she stayed until May 2006 when she swapped roles withChris Bath to present the "Morning News".Ann has been involved in coverage of events such as
