Stats at NFL.com David Leon Herron, Jr. (born June 17, 1984 in Warren, Ohio) is an American football linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. He was originally signed by the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played football at Warren G. Harding High School and college football at Michigan State.
Herron has also been a member of the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, and New York Jets. He is the older brother of Ohio State tailback Daniel Herron.
