Mamers is an unincorporated community located along old U.S. Highway 421 in the Upper Little River Township of Harnett County, North Carolina west of the town of Lillington between the communities of Ryes and Luart (Powell 1968, p. 310). Prominent landmarks near here include the community United States Post Office (ZIP Code 27552). Mamers is in the Boone Trail Elementary School district as well as in the Western Harnett middle and high school districts. Mamers has the population of around 1000 and is one square mile.
