Anderson Creek Township, Harnett County, North Carolina

Anderson Creek Township is one of thirteen townships in Harnett County, North Carolina, USA. The township had a population of 11,216 according to the 2000 census.

Geographically, Anderson Creek Township occupies 66.85 square miles in southern Harnett County. There are no incorporated municipalities located in Anderson Creek Township, however, there are several unincorporated communities located here, including the community of Anderson Creek.

Anderson Creek is a fast-growing community. Increased rapid growth of the community can be attributed to the increase of Military at nearby Ft. Bragg, as well as the Davis Love III. created golf course "Anderson Creek Club". Just recently at the inersection of Ray and Overhill's roads a shopping center was added. The Anderson Creek Shopping Center is comprised of a Food Lion, China Star chinese takeout, Domino's Pizza, Family Dollar, California Styles hair salon, and a Movie Gallery. There are a few spaces for rent in an adjacent building that was created when the center was made.
