IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, often abbreviated IEEE TCAD or IEEE Transactions on CAD, is a technical journal devoted to the design, analysis, and use of computer programs that aid in the design of integrated circuits and systems. It is published by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), in particular the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (IEEE-CAS, web page [http://www.ieee-cas.org/ here] ) and the IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation(IEEE CEDA, web page [http://www.c-eda.org/ here] ). It is published 12 times per year, and has ISSN|0278-0070.
The [http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/servlet/opac?punumber=43 IEEE web site] lists the scope of the journal as::"Methods, algorithms, and human-machine interfaces for physical and logical design, including: planning, synthesis, partitioning, modeling, simulation, layout, verification, testing, and documentation of integrated-circuit and systems designs of all complexities. Practical applications of aids resulting in producible analog, digital, optical, or microwave integrated circuits are emphasized."
