Lasteika ( _el. Λαστέικα, older form: Λασταίικα), older form: Lastaiika is a village located slightly east of Pyrgos in the central part of the
prefecture of Ilia . GR-9/E55 (Patras - Pyrgos) is only less than 1 km E of the traffic lights installed in the 2000s and lamp posts installed in the mid-1990s. The northern part were installed in the early-2000s up to near Chanakia. It is located on a road linkingKatakolo andOinoi with the Oinoi to Pyrgos Road which is also connected toSimopoulo . Some buildings and residential houses are aligned with the highway but further south are stores and shops to neart the communal boundary with Pyrgos. It is located about 90 km (old: 94 km) SW ofPatras , about 14 km SE ofAmaliada , about 20 km SW of Oinoi, 6 km NW of Pyrgos, about 70 km N ofKyparissia , 4 km NW of the by-pass of Pyrgos and about 24 km (old: 25 km) WNW of Olympia.ubdivisions

Lasteika has a school, a church, and a square ("
plateia "). The residential is only about 500 km from the Patras to Pyrgos Highway (GR-9). The municipal boundary withIardanos is only about 500 m north of the centre. The land in the south and west are used for farming and are mainly of pastures and fruits and vegetables. Olive groves are to the east and is mixed with some forest.
