Forsyth Major, 1896Taiva Shrew Tenrec range The Taiva Shrew Tenrec (Microgale taiva) is a species of mammal in the Tenrecidae family. It is endemic to Madagascar. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes. It is threatened by habitat loss.[2]
