(Cope, 1862)The Cuban Small-eared Toad, Guasabalo, or Sapo De Concha (Bufo empusus) is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family that is endemic to Cuba. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, lowland subtropical or tropical moist forests, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, intermittent freshwater marshes, and ponds. It is threatened by habitat loss.
