Waga, 1876The Caucasian Salamander (Mertensiella caucasica) is a species of salamander in the Salamandridae family. It is found in Georgia and Turkey. Its natural habitats are temperate forests and rivers. It is the only member of its genus, and is threatened by habitat loss.
