On July 10th, 2007, [http://www.vartv.com VARTV.com] reported that Kalil and Company Inc announced that it brokered a deal for Clear Channel to sell its entire Charlottesville cluster to George Reed's Sistema 102 LLC for $7.75 Million. Sistema 102 LLC changed it's name to Monticello Media on September 1st, 2007.

On October 12th, 2007, [http://www.vartv.com VARTV.com] reported the station launched an Adult Hits format under the new branding "Tom @ 107-5". WCJZ also took the call sign WWTJ.
