WZGN is an Oldies/Classic rock formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Crozet, Virginia and serves the Charlottesville, Virginia area. WZGN is owned and operated by Monticello Media.

On July 10th, 2007, [http://www.vartv.com VARTV.com] reported that Kalil and Company Inc announced that it brokered a deal for Clear Channel to sell its entire Charlottesville cluster to George Reed's Sistema 102 LLC for $7.75 Million. Sistema 102 LLC changed it's name to Monticello Media on September 1st, 2007.

Format Flip

WZGN, then known as WSUH, changed to a less rigid "era based" Oldies and Classic Rock under the name "Generations 102.3 & 94.1" to go along with their slogan, "Music for Your Generation".

On November 30, 2007, WSUH changed its call sign to WZGN to reflect its new format and branding.

Translator Shift

On September 7th, 2008, WZGN's Downtown Charlottesville translator, W231AD, shifted from simulcasting WZGN to simulcasting sister news-talker WCHV.
