Malone is currently serving as Vice-Chair of the Environmental Matters Committee.Malone was born in Baltimore on
July 8 ,1957 . He graduated with an A.A. degree fromCatonsville Community College in 1986 and spent 20 years working as a firefighter for the Baltimore County Fire Department, retiring in 2007. In the House of Delegates, Malone has worked extensively on issues related to public safety. He is married to a woman named Lisa. He has a son, also named James.Career
