Parc is a station on the Blue Line of the Montreal Metro rapid transit system, operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM). It is located in the Park-Extension district of the Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada [ [http://www.stm.info/English/metro/a-m60.htm Parc Metro Station] ] . The station was built inside the extreme western part of the Canadian Pacific's former Park Avenue station, and connects with Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) Parc Station.

Origin of name

Parc comes from Avenue du Parc, or Park Avenue, which is a main north/south thoroughfare in Montreal. Avenue du Parc gets its name from the fact that part of it runs along Mont Royal park.
