Mahmoud Omar Shelbaieh (born on May 20, 1980 in Amman) is a Jordanian professional association football player of Palestinian origin, who is a striker for Al-Wahdat. He is a member of the Jordan national football team and has always played as player number 9, and considered to be the top scorer of both his national team and his club.

As top scorer of the Jordan national team and his club Al-Wahdat, he is currently nicknamed "The Falcon of Jordanian Football" (Arabic:الصقر الكرة الأردنية)

Mahmoud Shelbaieh is best remembered for scoring the opening goal of the match between Jordan and Japan in the quarter-finals of the 2004 AFC Asian Cup thanks to the assist made by his teammate Khaled Saad.

After his unexceptionable performances in Jordan's road to Doha (2011 AFC Asian Cup qualification), missing two match days of qualification, and not being able to score any goals for Jordan, coach of Jordan Adnan Hamad announced that he won't participate in the tournament at Qatar since Jordan were able to qualify without much of his help.
