Bronze: 1975The Sudanese national basketball team is the national team of Sudanese basketball. The country has produced some NBA players, most notably Manute Bol and Luol Deng of the Chicago Bulls (who, however, is not eligible for the national team, as he has been naturalized in the United Kingdom and plays for the UK in FIBA competitions and England in the Commonwealth Games). However, the independence of South Sudan decimated the team level (Bol and Deng was borned there). They have a team, but not as strong as Senegal and Nigeria.
